Page and Fish were part of Phil's friends and played for the entire show. Mr.Charlie and Sugaree featured Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi on guitar and vocals. This set was part of the Lockn' Music Festival that also featured two days of Phish.

sol4rg4rlic This was a really fun show, even though I wouldn't say Fishman or Page got to shine very much. Phil was the main attraction here- everyone on stage and in the crowd knew it. With Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi on stage for Mr Charlie and Sugaree, we got to witness a lineup of musicians not likely to appear all together again. The Stringdusters are great and were in the zone, giving the songs life and keeping the bus moving along... Don't forget, people, that Phil is 76 and every show he gives us is a gift!

Personal highlights were UJB, Sugaree, Shakedown and of course that monster Terrapin Station closer!

Review by OceanOfOsyrus

OceanOfOsyrus This was a highlight of the weekend for sure. Fish and Russo are probably the Phish/Dead equivalent of each other so seeing them in stage together was a treat. Page stayed mostly humble and kept the sound full and left the spotlight to others, but he seemed to enjoy it all.

As always it is special to see Phil on stage and having fun. I love watching him orchestrate everyone into his vision of the sound, and then relaxing into it and just kind of encouraging everyone.

When Susan Tedeshci and Derek Trucks came out I knew we were in for a special show. I wish they had stayed for the whole show but they melded so well with the band. Trucks' slide with the Infamous Stringdusters adding a wonderful new sound to the Dead, Fishman and Russo holding down the fort, Page playing the organ, Phil thumping away and Susan belting out her best, what's not to love?
